"Strong female character" is such a trite expression. Molly is a great character. She's observant and inquisitive. She knows what kind of questions to ask. She's funny and kind. Sometimes she misses the obvious. She's brave and hardworking and professional. She didn't break down into hysterics when she found her friend dead. She was afraid but she took his pulse and moved on. They didn't take away your "strong female character" They built a new character and the fact of her gender is irrelevant.

I don’t disagree with you. Not in the least. I made that post after not even a third of the episode. I thought they’d made her character less significant than that of the one in the movie. But as the show progressed, it was very obvious that that was not what was going on. I am sorry if I upset you.
